Consultation on plans to turn former garage into new homes

Local residents will be invited to a public consultation on Tuesday, May 24, for the proposed development of 26 homes by Regent Land at 359-367 Limpsfield Road in South Croydon.

The consultation will take the form of an informal drop-in session from 4pm until 7pm at St Anthony’s Church, Wentworth Way, Hamsey Green.

Members of the public can come along and discuss any aspect of the proposal, such as the existing site and scheme overview, including the design and height, as well as the style and type of housing and landscaping.

The plans drawn up for the former Old Ken’s Autos site by MDR Architects include three-bedroom terraced houses and one and two bedroom flats, as well as a commercial space, which it is hoped will attract a high quality and recognisable retailer.

Regent Land hope the consultation will give local people the chance to engage with the proposal and feedback their thoughts prior to the submission of a planning application.
