A new job board has been created with the aim of getting local people into local jobs and positively promoting Croydon as a great place to work.
LoveCroydonJobs.com is dedicated to creating and promoting pathways into work for local people, while raising their aspirations and improving employability skills.
Croydon is the latest launch for the LoveLocalJobs.com portfolio, which runs award-winning regional job platforms across Sussex and Surrey.

The aim is to better connect Croydon employers with candidates from their own area and helping to ensure that they have access to better-informed, work-ready applicants with the right skills for the job by providing relevant employability advice and guidance – both online and face-to-face though its Be the Change initiative.
LoveCroydonJobs has been launched with the support of seven founding partners: American Express, Croydon Business Venture, Heart FM, Liverpool Victoria LV=, the London Borough of Croydon and White Label Creative.
Rosanna Farrar of LoveCroydonJobs said: “We are particularly passionate about inspiring young people about the world of work and educating them about all of the opportunities available to them in their local area, helping to bridge the gap between education and employment.

“We run ground breaking events, as part of our Be the Change Programme, which is designed to bring together local school students and corporate mentors from local companies to help raise aspirations, boost confidence and deal with the barriers to success that young people face on a day to day basis, at the same time as strengthening businesses employer brand and in turn their talent pipeline.”
As a special offer to mark the launch of LoveCroydonJobs.com, all organisations in the borough are being invited to post their vacancies free of charge between now and the end of 2015. Just visit the site, register as a recruiter (by selecting ‘post a job’), upload your vacancy and enter the promo code CROLAUNCH2015.
