The Summit will see young people, aged 15-19, from across the Borough taking part in a round table discussions and giving their perspectives on Croydon’s regeneration. Groups will discuss what the young people of today think they will require of the Croydon of tomorrow, looking specifically at housing, workplace and culture.
The summit will run from 2 – 3.30pm and representatives from companies taking part in the main Conference will be facilitating the discussions. Conference Chair Mark Easton will also be joining the session and feeding back the ideas discussed in his closing address.
The young people will be invited to join the closing addresses by Jules Pipe, Deputy Mayor for Planning, Regeneration and Skills, Jo Negrini, Chief Executive, London Borough of Croydon and Mark Easton.
The event aims to give a voice to the younger generation so they can help shape the future of the town they call home.
