Strong Recruitment Group has partnered up with StingABC, an amateur boxing club in Croydon, to run an open day on 5th October.
Strong Group, in conjunction with third-party stakeholders, have developed a programme to create training and job opportunities that lead to fulfilling careers for the young people in Croydon.
This programme aims to also help young offenders and disadvantaged young people or those who are at a high risk of being involved in gang activity. The open day will encourage young people to work towards their career goals. There will be construction training and much more to get young people age 18+ into immediate employment.
Strong Group specialises in working with young people in Croydon, providing them with construction training, CSCS and CCDO cards, employment opportunities and career development.
“I have trained at the Gym and taken a construction course at Croydon College. I am keen to start working and am pleased that I am given an opportunity to keep me off the streets. I have boxed at StingABC for 3 years, then worked on refurbishing the gym with Strong Group, giving me free training. I am now able to work on sites and McGee is willing to take me on as an apprentice.” Jashar Haxhiu, Boxer.
