R&F Properties support Croydon Food and Music Festival

R&F Properties, the team behind one of the area’s most significant redevelopment sites – Queen’s Square, will be joining the Croydon Food and Music Festival this Sunday to share updates on the exciting project.

As a prominent site in the bustling town centre, located immediately opposite the Town Hall and the Queen’s Gardens on Katharine Street, the site that includes the former Nestle Tower, St George’s Walk, Segas House, and is set to be a key partner to Croydon’s town centre upgrade.

Queen’s Square is a significant redevelopment site that will open up access by linking the cultural quarter around Fairfield Halls, the civic quarter around the Town Hall, the shopping and leisure quarter along the High Street and the emerging  development of Croydon’s retail core that is being delivered by the Croydon Partnership.

Phase 1, the conversion of the former Nestle Tower to 227 new homes, is already underway.

Phase 2 involves the redevelopment of the rest of the site including Segas House to provide a new town square opposite the Town Hall, along with a range of commercial uses, which could include shops, restaurants, offices and other workspaces on the ground floor, with new homes above.

Queens Square marketing suite is open 7 days a week and can be found at 23-25 High St, Croydon, CR0 1QB.

The Croydon Food and Music Festival will be host to musicians and a variety of global cuisine with fun for all the family. The R&F team will be spending the day at the Food Festival talking to visitors about their plans. On their stand you will also have the opportunity to cycle your own smoothie with ‘Urban Smoothie Bikes’ and there will be a host of great give-aways on offer!
