Croydon residents and businesses were given an in-depth look at the exciting plans for Leon Quarter at a public exhibition last week.
The proposals, brought forward by FI Real Estate Management, were displayed over two days at TMRW Café and co-working space on the High Street.
The Leon Quarter scheme will be a new residential community in the heart of Croydon. The proposals will redevelop a car park and area of hard standing adjoining Leon House, a former office building that has now been converted into high quality apartments.
Three new buildings will sit alongside Leon House and provide 350 new homes to the town. At the ground floor, a variety of restaurants, shops and a new public square will create a new hub on Croydon High Street.
The project is expected to be put forward for planning later this year.
