Develop Croydon partners played a crucial role in helping the 2018 MIPIM Tennis Classic raise in excess of £35,000 for LandAid.
The competition, run by White Label, saw 28 players do battle at the Cannes Tennis Club earlier this month.
Lucy Arthur and Simon Osborne, from AshbyCapital, eventually emerged worthy winners but the main aim of the morning was to bring in as much money for LandAid as possible. The property industry’s charity aims to end youth homelessness in the UK.
Craig Marks, CEO of regeneration specialists Menta – a Develop Croydon partner – lead the way, raising a fantastic £1605 from his own personal sponsorship.
The total figure is still being calculated, with money continuing to be donated, but is well in excess of £35,000 – a huge increase in last year’s record of £20,217.
Martin Skinner, CEO of another Develop Croydon member Inspired Homes, is one of the founding partners of the competition.
