Guildhouse Rosepride’s plans for One Lansdowne are approved

Croydon Council planners have unanimously approved plans revised plans to create a landmark development at One Lansdowne Road in the heart of the south London town.

Featuring towers of 68 and 41 storeys – linked by an 11-storey block – the Guildhouse Rosepride development will be the second tallest building in Britain – behind The Shard.

It will peak at 236 metres high, taller than Canary Wharf and only eclipsed by The Shard, which is 95 floors and 310 metres.

A bar, restaurant and free public viewing gallery on the 64th to 66 floors will offer visitors panoramic views across the capital and Surrey.

The plans are enhanced from Guildhouse Rosepride’s original plans to build a 55-storey development which were approved in 2011.
