Community housing provider celebrates 50th anniversary

A local community housing provider whose mission was to ‘help the housing situation in Croydon’ celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2017.

The fundamental objective behind CCHA’s mission remains reflected in the visions and values which the organisation holds to this day.

To mark the milestone, CCHA will be holding an event at the end of January to mark its golden service, with one its founders Peter Juniper among the dignitaries scheduled to attend.

CCHA currently manages and owns more than 1,400 homes and also has ambitious development plans for the future despite fierce competition within the sector.

Chief executive Tracy Cullen said: : “It is an absolute honour to lead CCHA into its sixth decade of housing in Croydon and neighbouring boroughs.

“I am committed to the growth of the organisation, which means creating more homes to meet the growing needs of the local people. With that said, our first priority will always be our existing residents and the quality of the services they receive.”
