Bakery company takes commercial premises in New Addington

A bakery company has bought the HTZ building in New Addington.

SHW acted on behalf of a private landlord in selling the premises to a business which supplies various bakery products in London.

The unit offers 13,000 sq ft of warehousing on a 0.6 acre site.

Sam Baly of SHW said: “Freehold warehouses for owner occupiers are a rarity in the local market at present. With current vacancy rates at less than four per cent, this deal underpins the rise in prices being achieved in south London and Surrey.”

Other local occupiers include Centronic, G Miccoli & Sons, Adams Aviation, Alliance Healthcare and Angell Welding & Fabrications.

The premises became vacant when manufacturer HTZ moved to East Grinstead.
