Croydon has been identified as London’s fifth best place for upsizing according to a new survey.
New research from estate agent Strutt & Parker shows that three-bedroom homes command a price premium.
Meanwhile new figures taken from Lloyds Bank reveal a quarter of first-time buyers are finding it harder to trade up than they did to get on the property ladder.
The report, published in Homes and Property, points to the reinvention of Croydon thanks to Boxpark, thousands of new flats and Westfield and Hammerson’s proposed £5.25billion retail-led regeneration.
