What do Croydon’s developers want from their architects?

An event asking ‘What Clients think of Architects’ is being held at The View, Develop Croydon’s marketing suite in the Whitgift Tower, on Tuesday, May 16 (6pm).

Architects and developers will have their say at the event being held by Croydon Constructing Excellence Club and organised by RIBA, whose market intelligence helps architects to adapt to construction clients’ changing needs.

The audience will be able to hear the views of panellists who will sketch out what they need from each other and how they could improve their relationship for a better, more viable, sustainable, resilient and fit-for-purpose built environment.

Nigel Ostime of Hawkins\Brown will open the debate after summarising the findings of a ‘Working with Architects’ survey.

The architects’ panel will feature project architect Zahra Chiheb, Andre Fagan, director of MDR Associates, and Dipa Joshi, director of Assael Architecture.
Representing the clients will be Anthony Kingston, chief executive of DM2 Property Group, Chris Langdon, group director for Keepmoat Regeneration and Graham Page, head of design at Willmott Dixon.

The debate will be followed by a question-and-answer session and conclude with networking.

Tickets are free for Croydon Constructing Excellence Club members (restricted to two per company) and accredited RIBA members. Non-members are welcome to attend at a cost of £15
