Almost 80 per cent of a landmark development in central Croydon has been sold within a weeks of being launched onto the market.
Only 20 apartments remain for sale at the prime 15 Lansdowne development – the former Emerald House office block – close to East Croydon station – which has attracted local and international interest.
“15 Lansdowne is a very good example of how well Croydon new developments can sell if marketed in the right way,” said Patrick Donnelly, of marketing agent Street’s Aheads’ New Homes Division.

“The apartments in Lansdowne Road were priced for the current market place and offered a high end finish, with good modern living space.
Mr Donnelly added: “We have done very well with all our Croydon developments, including Green Dragon House and Fellmongers Yard. And we are very excited by our newest development in Mint Walk – a mix of 18 one and two bedroom apartments – which is launching very soon.”
15 Lansdowne was simultaneously launched in Croydon, London, Hong Kong, Singapore and Dubai on February 2. There were 98 apartments – 77 one bedrooms and 21 two bedrooms – arranged over 12 floors under a permitted development scheme.
More than 80 potential purchasers came along to the Croydon open evening, which alone generated offers for more than 20 flats in the development.
15 Lansdowne is in the heart of the redevelopment of Croydon being only a three minute walk of East Croydon station express services to Victoria, London Bridge, close to Box Park and with the new Westfield-Hammerson shopping and leisure centre being close-by, it’s in a great location.
